1、About the lab

Ongoing studies include identification, function and regulation of bone marrow skeletal stem/progenitors, inflammatory regulation of macrophage polarization and differentiation into osteoclasts in osteoimmunology field, an exciting interdisciplinary research field linking bone biology and immune system.

We apply cutting edge cellular and molecular techniques including RNAseq, ATACseq, ChIPseq and scRNAseq, and use various genetic mouse models to accomplish the study.

2、Requirement

The qualified candidate must have a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. in molecular and cellular biology, immunology, bone biology or a related field and have at least one first author article.

Expertise in cellular and molecular techniques, such as Cloning, ChIP, IP, FACS, confocal microscopy and histology/immunofluorescence staining, as well as genetic mutant mouse breeding are required. Candidates with experience and interest in bioinformatics analysis, such as RNAseq analysis and/or analysis of scRNAseq using Seurat, are preferred. High level of motivation, responsibility and independence are expected.

NIH standard salary for postdoctoral fellows plus housing supplement (>=$60,000dependent on accomplishment), and an excellent benefit package (Medical and Dental insurances, relocation support (air ticket), retirement plans, yearly conference trip and retreats) are available.
